- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar for about 2–3 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then add orange juice, zest, and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients on low speed until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan.
- Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar with 2-3 tablespoons of orange juice until smooth.
