- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pan or Dutch oven over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add 1 pound of ground beef, 1 chopped sweet onion, and 1 diced orange bell pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, until beef is browned and onion is translucent.
- Stir in 3 minced garlic cloves and sauté for another 1 minute.
