  • 1 piece ripe mango Ensures natural sweetness and tropical flavor.
  • 1 cup coconut milk Adds creaminess; can substitute with almond or oat milk.
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup Adjust to taste; can replace with agave syrup for a vegan alternative.
For the Matcha
  • 1-2 teaspoons matcha powder High-quality matcha is recommended.
  • 2 ounces hot water Must be hot but not boiling.
For Assembly
  • 1 cup ice cubes Use larger cubes to minimize dilution.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut a ripe mango in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender with coconut milk. Blend on high for 30–60 seconds until smooth.
  2. Mash the flesh of the other half of the mango in a bowl with a fork until chunky.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk matcha powder with hot water until smooth and frothy, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. In a tall glass, place the mashed mango at the bottom, followed by ice cubes.
  5. Pour the mango-coconut milk blend over the ice, then gently pour the frothed matcha on top.
  6. Mix gently with a straw or spoon before drinking. Enjoy immediately.
