  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Maple Syrup
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour can substitute gluten-free blend
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips optional
  • 1/2 cup Nuts chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1/2 cup Dried Fruits raisins or cranberries

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Cream the mixture until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition. Pour in the maple syrup and blend until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this flour mixture to the wet ingredients.
  5. Scoop rounded portions of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  7. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
