For the Filling
  • 2 cups Raspberries (fresh or frozen) If using frozen, thaw and drain
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch Tapioca starch can be used as a substitute

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Gradually add rolled oats, flour, and salt, mixing until crumbly.
  3. Press half of the crust mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Toss raspberries with cornstarch and spread evenly over the crust.
  5. Crumble the remaining crust mixture over the raspberry layer.
  6. Bake for approximately 30 minutes until golden brown and filling bubbles.
  7. Cool completely before lifting out and slicing into squares.
