Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. Make the Cake Batter by whisking together one whole egg, an additional egg yolk, granulated sugar, sour cream, and vanilla extract. Gradually add in all-purpose flour, baking powder, and baking soda until just combined.
  3. Prepare the Streusel Topping by combining cold, cubed butter, flour, and sugar in a bowl. Mix until the mixture resembles pea-sized crumbs.
