- Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling by combining softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and egg whites in a mixing bowl and blending until smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
- Make the Cake Batter by whisking together one whole egg, an additional egg yolk, granulated sugar, sour cream, and vanilla extract. Gradually add in all-purpose flour, baking powder, and baking soda until just combined.
- Prepare the Streusel Topping by combining cold, cubed butter, flour, and sugar in a bowl. Mix until the mixture resembles pea-sized crumbs.
