Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. On a floured surface, roll out your pizza crust dough to approximately 3/8 inch thick. Cover it with a towel to rest for about 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat your grill to a sizzling 500°F. Once heated, lower the heat to the lowest setting. Carefully place the dough directly on the grill grates, then close the lid. Cook for 2 to 4 minutes.
  3. Carefully remove the crust and brush the toasted side generously with olive oil.
  4. Spread pizza sauce on the oiled crust, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese, crispy bacon pieces, fresh blackberries, and basil. Finish with salt and pepper.
  5. Return the topped pizza to the grill, placing it raw side down. Lower the heat and close the lid to cook for 4 to 6 minutes.
  6. Move the pizza to an upper rack or indirect heat until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 2 to 3 more minutes.
  7. Carefully remove the pizza from the grill, let it cool for a minute before slicing, and serve with a light salad.
