Step-by-Step Instructions
- On a floured surface, roll out your pizza crust dough to approximately 3/8 inch thick. Cover it with a towel to rest for about 15 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to a sizzling 500°F. Once heated, lower the heat to the lowest setting. Carefully place the dough directly on the grill grates, then close the lid. Cook for 2 to 4 minutes.
- Carefully remove the crust and brush the toasted side generously with olive oil.
- Spread pizza sauce on the oiled crust, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese, crispy bacon pieces, fresh blackberries, and basil. Finish with salt and pepper.
- Return the topped pizza to the grill, placing it raw side down. Lower the heat and close the lid to cook for 4 to 6 minutes.
- Move the pizza to an upper rack or indirect heat until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 2 to 3 more minutes.
- Carefully remove the pizza from the grill, let it cool for a minute before slicing, and serve with a light salad.
