Step-by-Step Instructions
- On a floured surface, roll out the pizza crust dough to about 3/8 inch thickness. Cover it to let it rest for about 15 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to about 500°F, reducing heat to its lowest setting after preheating.
- Grill the dough over direct heat for 2 to 4 minutes until grill marks form.
- Remove the crust, brush olive oil on the toasted side, then layer with pizza sauce, mozzarella, bacon, blackberries, and basil. Sprinkle salt and pepper.
- Return the topped pizza to the grill with the raw side down, cooking for 4 to 6 minutes with the lid closed.
- Move pizza to indirect heat or upper rack until cheese is melted and crust is charred, which may take an additional 2 to 4 minutes.
