Step-by-Step Instructions for Yaki Udon
  1. Gather and prepare all ingredients: cut protein, wash and slice vegetables, mince garlic and ginger.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet, add diced protein, stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until cooked, then set aside.
  3. Sauté garlic and ginger in the skillet for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add vegetables, starting with cabbage and mushrooms, stirring for 2-3 minutes. Then add snow peas and bok choy for another 1-2 minutes.
  5. Incorporate udon noodles and cooked protein; stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until heated.
  6. Drizzle soy sauce, stir for 1-2 minutes to coat noodles and vegetables.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
