  • 4 cups Potatoes peeled and diced, russet or Yukon Gold preferred
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheese Cheddar & Mozzarella, or your favorite cheeses
  • 1 cup Onions chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced, can substitute with garlic powder
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup or cream of chicken soup
  • to taste Seasonings Salt, Pepper, Thyme
  • to garnish Parsley chopped

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and gather all your ingredients.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with chopped onion and minced garlic for 7-10 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine browned beef mixture with cream of mushroom soup, diced potatoes, and seasonings. Mix well.
  4. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and spread the beef and potato mixture evenly. Top with shredded cheese.
  5. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove foil and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is golden brown.
  7. Let cool for about 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
