For the Crust
  • 1 package pie dough Store-bought or homemade.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add sliced leeks. Sauté until tender, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. Stir in cream, Gruyère cheese, and dry white wine; season with salt and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out pie dough into a 12-inch circle on parchment paper.
  4. Transfer the dough on parchment to a baking sheet. Spoon leek and cheese mixture into the center, leaving a 2-inch border.
  5. Fold crust edges over filling, creating pleats. Bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes, then serve warm or at room temperature.
