Step-by-Step Instructions for Mediterranean Chicken Patties
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté for about 5 minutes until translucent. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, then set aside to cool slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sautéed onion and garlic with chopped spinach, ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Greek yogurt, dill, lemon juice, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into eight equal portions and shape into patties about ½ inch thick.
- Wipe the skillet clean, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and heat. Place patties in the skillet and fry for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
