  • 4 fillets Salmon Fillets fresh or frozen
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil for cooking
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika or regular paprika as substitute
For the Avocado Cream
  • 2 large Avocados ripe
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream or Greek yogurt
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare the Avocado Cream by halving and pitting the ripe avocados. Scoop the flesh into a food processor, then add lime juice, minced garlic, sour cream, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika, then let rest.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon fillets skin-side down and sear for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  4. Carefully flip the salmon and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Plate each fillet and spoon the avocado sauce over the top before serving.
