Cooking Steps
  1. Season the ribeye or filet mignon with salt and pepper. Heat the skillet over medium-high and add oil. Cook steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  2. Transfer the steak to a cutting board and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and stir until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Deglaze the skillet with bourbon, scraping the browned bits. Let simmer for 1 minute.
  5. Add heavy cream, beef broth, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer 2 minutes until thickened.
  6. Slice the rested steak, plate, and drizzle the sauce over.
