Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Wash and slice 4-6 ripe pears into thin wedges and arrange them in an oven-safe skillet.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of oats, 1/2 cup of sugar, and 1/4 cup of flour. Stir in 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg.
  3. Melt 1/4 cup of butter or coconut oil and pour it into the dry mixture. Mix until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle the topping over the pears in the skillet.
  5. Bake for about 30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
