Step-by-Step Instructions for Strawberry Limeade
  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine 1 cup of granulated sugar with 1 cup of water. Stir continuously for about 2-3 minutes until the sugar fully dissolves, creating a simple syrup. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  2. In a blender, add the hulled strawberries and 1 cup of water. Blend on high until you achieve a smooth consistency, about 30-60 seconds. Optionally strain to eliminate seeds for a smoother texture.
  3. In a large pitcher, pour the strawberry puree. Add the cooled simple syrup, 1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice, and the remaining 4 cups of water. Stir thoroughly until well combined.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Serve over ice and garnish with lime wedges or fresh mint, if desired.
