Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, thyme, umami seasoning, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and salt. Mix until smooth.
  3. Transfer the filling to a piping bag or zip-top bag and set aside.
  4. Pipe the filling into the halved morel mushrooms until generously filled.
  5. Melt the butter in a separate bowl, then mix in the panko breadcrumbs until coated.
  6. Press the stuffed mushrooms into the breadcrumb mixture for an even coating.
  7. Arrange stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet, breadcrumb side up, spaced out for even baking.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until tender and golden brown. Broil for an extra 2-3 minutes for crispiness if desired.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
