- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9x13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray.
- Brown the ground beef and sweet Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat, drain fat, and stir in minced garlic and spaghetti sauce.
- Mix ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, egg, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl until smooth.
- Spread 3/4 cup of meat sauce in the dish, layer noodles, cheese mixture, and meat sauce, repeating the process.
- Top with remaining meat sauce and mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Add water if needed and cover with foil.
- Bake for 50 minutes covered, then remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.
- Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before serving to set the layers.
