Step-by-Step Instructions for Vampire’s Fig & Thyme Punch
  1. In a small saucepan, combine ½ cup sugar, ½ cup water, and 4 sprigs of fresh thyme. Bring to a simmer and stir until sugar dissolves. Simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cool, and strain into a jar.
  2. Juice one fresh lemon to extract about 1 ounce of juice, straining it to remove seeds and pulp.
  3. In a shaker, add 2 tablespoons of fresh fig jam, 2 ounces of botanical gin, 1 ounce of strained lemon juice, and 1 ounce of thyme syrup. Mix well until combined.
  4. Fill glasses with ice cubes, then strain the mixed contents into each glass.
