Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Remove damaged leaves from the cabbage, rinse it, and pat dry.
- Make several shallow cuts across the top of the cabbage about 1 inch deep.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat, then add olive oil and minced garlic. Stir in paprika, oregano, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Brush the garlic herb butter mixture generously over the cabbage, working it between the outer leaves.
- Pour vegetable broth into a large baking dish and place the cabbage upright in the center.
- Cover the cabbage loosely with aluminum foil and roast for about 45 minutes.
- After 45 minutes, uncover and baste the cabbage with pan juices. Brush any remaining garlic herb butter over exposed parts.
- Increase oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and roast uncovered for another 30-40 minutes, basting every 15 minutes.
- Once roasted, drizzle with lemon juice and spoon pan juices over it. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes
Always select a firm cabbage for roasting. Making shallow cuts allows better flavor infusion. Regular basting is key for moisture and caramelization.
