  • 5 large Eggs
  • 2 cups Milk

  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar packed
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup for serving

  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg optional
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon adjust to taste
For the Fruit
  • 2 cups Peaches (unsweetened, drained) can substitute with any fruit

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Grease the baking dish and preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Tear croissants into bite-sized pieces and spread in the greased dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, salt, and nutmeg until smooth.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the croissant pieces and press down with a spatula.
  5. Layer peaches on top, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and refrigerate overnight.
  7. Bake covered for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 10 minutes until golden.
  8. Serve warm with a drizzle of maple syrup.
