For the Tacos
  • 8 pieces Corn Tortillas Can substitute with lettuce wraps
  • 2 cups Shredded Cabbage Or use shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup Diced Tomatoes Cherry tomatoes for sweetness
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Cilantro Optional
  • 1 medium Avocado Or use guacamole
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream Or Greek yogurt, optional
  • to taste Hot Sauce Choose your favorite
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice Freshly squeezed is best

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the shrimp and marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes until hot.
  3. Add the marinated shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Sauté for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  4. In a separate pan, gently heat the corn tortillas over low heat for about 30 seconds on each side.
  5. Assemble the tacos by placing cooked shrimp, shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, and cilantro on each tortilla.
  6. Garnish with avocado slices, sour cream (if using), hot sauce, and lime juice before serving.
