Preparation Steps
- In a medium bowl, combine ¼ cup of olive oil, 3 cloves of minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1 teaspoon of dried basil, and a pinch of red pepper flakes if desired. Stir well and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan with a light coat of olive oil.
- On a floured surface, roll out your pizza dough into a 12x18-inch rectangle.
- Brush the rolled-out dough with the prepared garlic herb oil, reserving a small amount.
- Sprinkle an even layer of grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella cheese over the oiled dough.
- Using a sharp knife, slice the dough into 1-inch wide strips, then cut the stacks into 1-inch pieces.
- Carefully place the dough squares into the prepared pan, standing them upright.
- Continue filling the pan with the remaining dough squares until fully packed.
- Brush the top of the assembled dough with the reserved garlic herb oil.
- Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and continue baking for another 15-20 minutes.
- Let the Pull Apart Pizza Bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm with pizza sauce for dipping.
