Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Grease the bottom and sides of the baking dish liberally.
  3. Cut the bread into one-inch cubes and distribute half of the bread cubes across the bottom of the greased baking dish.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until frothy.
  5. Layer ham and turkey over the first layer of bread cubes, then top with the remaining bread cubes.
  6. Gently pour the prepared egg mixture over the layers in the baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese over the top layer.
  8. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Let the casserole cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
