- Place the mozzarella sticks in the freezer for 2 to 4 hours to firm them up.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll one tube of the refrigerated crescent rolls and press the seams together. Slice the dough into thin strips.
- Wrap a frozen mozzarella stick in one of the dough strips, sealing the edges completely.
- Cut additional thin strips from the second tube of dough to wrap around each cheese-covered stick, leaving small gaps in between.
- Place the wrapped mummies on a parchment-lined baking tray, brush with beaten egg white, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Bake the mummies in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
- Press two candy eyes into each mummy stick immediately after baking, then serve warm.
