Step-By-Step Instructions
  1. Place the mozzarella sticks in the freezer for 2 to 4 hours to firm them up.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Unroll one tube of the refrigerated crescent rolls and press the seams together. Slice the dough into thin strips.
  4. Wrap a frozen mozzarella stick in one of the dough strips, sealing the edges completely.
  5. Cut additional thin strips from the second tube of dough to wrap around each cheese-covered stick, leaving small gaps in between.
  6. Place the wrapped mummies on a parchment-lined baking tray, brush with beaten egg white, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Bake the mummies in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Press two candy eyes into each mummy stick immediately after baking, then serve warm.
