  • 1 cup fresh strawberries diced; can substitute with other seasonal fruits
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon optional; can also use nutmeg
Wrapper
  • 4 pieces tortillas flour or whole wheat; fresh and pliable for easy rolling

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, 1 cup of diced fresh strawberries, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Blend until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Take one soft tortilla and spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the entire tortilla, leaving a small border.
  3. Starting from one edge, tightly roll the tortilla to encapsulate the creamy filling. Wrap each rolled tortilla in plastic wrap.
  4. Place the wrapped tortillas in the refrigerator and let them chill for at least 1 hour.
  5. After chilling, carefully unwrap the tortillas and slice into 1-2 inch thick pieces. Serve immediately or chill again before serving.
