  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil For brushing on top

  • 1 tbsp Red Pepper Flakes (optional) Customize spice levels

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare Garlic Herb Oil: In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, and dried basil. Add red pepper flakes if desired. Allow to sit for 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan or deep skillet.
  3. Roll Out Dough: Roll pizza dough into a rectangle measuring approximately 12x18 inches, ensuring even thickness.
  4. Oil the Dough: Apply garlic herb oil generously over the surface of the rolled-out dough, reserving some for later.
  5. Add Cheeses: Sprinkle grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella evenly over the oiled dough.
  6. Cut and Stack: Slice the dough into 1-inch strips, stack them, and cut into squares.
  7. Arrange in Pan: Place dough squares into the prepared pan with cut sides facing upwards.
  8. Brush Top: Use reserved garlic herb oil to brush on top of the arranged dough squares.
  9. Bake: Cover loosely with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for an additional 15 to 20 minutes.
  10. Cool and Serve: Allow to cool for 10 minutes, garnish with chopped fresh parsley, and serve with pizza sauce.
