  • 1/4 cup Coconut Aminos or gluten-free soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper adjust to taste
  • 4 cups Beef Broth or chicken broth if preferred
  • 1 cup Frozen Peas can substitute with fresh or canned
For Thickening (Optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Arrowroot Flour tapioca flour can be used
  • 1 cup Green Beans add 30 minutes before serving

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by gathering all your ingredients for the Slow Cooker Beef Stew. Chop the stew beef into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper. Dice the baby blonde potatoes and carrots, finely chop the yellow onion, and mince the garlic.
  2. In your slow cooker, add the seasoned stew beef along with the chopped potatoes, carrots, diced onion, and minced garlic. Stir in the tomato paste, coconut aminos, and beef broth until well mixed.
  3. Place the lid on your slow cooker and set it to cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the frozen peas.
  5. If desired, whisk arrowroot flour with water and stir into the stew for thickening during the last 30 minutes.
  6. Once cooked, taste the stew and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
