  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 tsp Dried Basil
For the Cheesy Center
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella low-moisture preferred
For the Glaze
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
For Garnish
  • 2 tbsp Parsley (chopped, optional)

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet or a loaf pan by greasing it.
  2. Mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, salt, pepper, oregano, and basil in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Form half the mixture into a loaf, make a trench in the center, fill with mozzarella, then cover with remaining mixture.
  4. Whisk ketchup, brown sugar, and balsamic vinegar in a bowl and brush over meatloaf.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
