For the Broccolini
  • 1 bunch Broccolini Can substitute regular broccoli if needed.
For the Oil and Zest
  • 2 tablespoons Avocado Oil Olive oil is a great substitute.
  • 1 whole Lemon Use fresh lemon for best flavor.
For Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper Use as desired.
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Sunflower Seeds Optional.
  • 2 tablespoons Pumpkin Seeds Optional.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat a griddle or grill pan over high heat for about 5 minutes until hot. Drizzle avocado oil and spread it around.
  2. Rinse the broccolini under cold water, pat dry, and trim tough ends. Arrange broccolini in the hot pan.
  3. Grill broccolini for about 5 minutes, flipping halfway through until bright green with char marks.
  4. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish. Grate lemon zest over the top and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Squeeze fresh lemon juice and sprinkle sunflower and pumpkin seeds before serving.
