Air Fryer Salmon Patties are a quick, healthy, and flavorful meal perfect for any occasion. With a crispy exterior and tender, seasoned interior, these patties are packed with protein and omega-3s. Enjoy them as a snack, appetizer, or main course that’s both satisfying and nutritious.

Ingredients

  • 14.75 ounces canned salmon (drained, bones removed)
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon dried dill
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (optional, chopped)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)
  • Tartar sauce (for serving)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Air Fryer:
    • Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil nonstick cooking spray.
  • Mix Ingredients:
    • In a large bowl, combine canned salmon, egg, mayonnaise, panko breadcrumbs, lemon juice, dill, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
  • Form the Patties:
    • Divide the mixture into four portions and shape each into a ½-inch thick patty.
  • Cook the Patties:
    • Place patties in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each.
    • Spray the tops with cooking spray. Cook at 390°F for 10–12 minutes, until golden and cooked through.
  • Serve:
    • Enjoy hot with lemon wedges and tartar sauce on the side.

Notes

  • For a gluten-free version, use almond flour or gluten-free breadcrumbs.
  • Fresh salmon can be substituted for canned salmon; cook and flake before mixing.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days; reheat in the air fryer for best results.
  • Customize flavors by adding paprika, cayenne pepper, or fresh dill.
