Ingredients
- 8 slider rolls
- 8 slices of cooked bacon
- 8 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped chives (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and scramble until fully cooked. Remove from heat.
- Slice the slider rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Layer the cooked bacon evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls.
- Spoon the scrambled eggs over the bacon, then sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Place the top halves of the slider rolls over the cheese.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- If desired, sprinkle chopped chives over the sliders before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add sliced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the scrambled eggs.
- You can also substitute turkey bacon for a lighter option or use different cheeses like pepper jack or Swiss for variety.
