Ingredients
- 3 cups diced cooked rotisserie chicken
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- ¾ cup hot pepper sauce (e.g., Frank’s RedHot)
- ½ cup shredded pepper Jack cheese, plus 2 tablespoons for topping
- ½ cup blue cheese dressing
- ½ cup crumbled blue cheese
- ½ teaspoon seafood seasoning (e.g., Old Bay)
- 2 pinches cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon thinly sliced green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the diced chicken, softened cream cheese, hot pepper sauce, ½ cup shredded pepper Jack cheese, blue cheese dressing, crumbled blue cheese, seafood seasoning, and 1 pinch of cayenne pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Prepare the Baking Dish: Spread the mixture evenly into a 9-inch round baking dish. Smooth the top for even cooking.
- Add Topping: Sprinkle the remaining 2 tablespoons of shredded pepper Jack cheese over the top.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbling.
- Garnish: Remove from the oven and sprinkle with another pinch of cayenne pepper. Add thinly sliced green onions, if desired.
- Serve: Let the dip cool slightly before serving. Pair it with tortilla chips, celery sticks, carrot sticks, crackers, or toasted baguette slices.
Notes
- Make Ahead: Prepare the dip up to 24 hours in advance and refrigerate. Bake just before serving.
- Adjust Spice Level: For a milder dip, reduce the buffalo sauce or cayenne pepper. For extra heat, add chopped jalapeños or a splash of habanero sauce.
- Keto-Friendly: Serve with low-carb options like celery sticks, cucumber slices, or bell peppers.
