Description
A delightful dish featuring rotini pasta and ground beef in a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 12 ounces rotini pasta
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the rotini pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Add the cooked rotini to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef.
- Add steamed broccoli or spinach to the pasta for extra vegetables and nutrition.
