Description

A delightful dish featuring rotini pasta and ground beef in a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 12 ounces rotini pasta
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the rotini pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  5. Add the cooked rotini to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef.
  • Add steamed broccoli or spinach to the pasta for extra vegetables and nutrition.
