Ingredients
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the chicken pieces to the skillet, season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add the frozen peas and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the peas are heated through.
- Stir in the cooked egg noodles and Parmesan cheese, mixing until everything is well combined and the cheese has melted.
- Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider sautéing some chopped onions and garlic in the butter before adding the chicken.
- You can substitute the chicken with cooked shrimp or tofu for a different protein option.
