Description

Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Clusters are a delicious treat made with ripe strawberries coated in creamy Greek yogurt and dipped in semi-sweet chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups ripe strawberries, tops removed and sliced
  • 1 cup creamy Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup agave nectar or honey
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (optional)
  • A dash of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare a baking tray by lining it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, agave nectar (or honey), vanilla extract, and a dash of sea salt until the mixture is creamy and well-blended.
  3. Take each strawberry slice and generously coat it in the yogurt blend, ensuring it’s fully covered. Arrange the yogurt-coated strawberries on the lined baking tray.
  4. Freeze the tray of strawberries for about half an hour to allow the yogurt coating to firm up.
  5. Meanwhile, in a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips along with the vegetable oil (if using) in 30-second bursts, stirring after each interval until the mixture is silky smooth.
  6. Once the yogurt-coated strawberries are set, remove them from the freezer and dip each piece into the melted chocolate, letting any excess chocolate drip off before placing them back on the tray.
  7. After all the strawberries are coated in chocolate, return the tray to the freezer for an additional 15-20 minutes to let the chocolate harden completely.
  8. Serve these delightful bites right away or keep them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days for a refreshing treat.

Notes

  • For a unique flavor, consider using white chocolate instead of semi-sweet for a sweeter experience.
  • Enhance the chocolate-dipped strawberries by sprinkling crushed nuts or toasted coconut on top before the chocolate sets for an extra crunch.
