Description
A creamy and spicy dip made with shredded chicken, cream cheese, and buffalo sauce, perfect for game day or any gathering.
Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
- 1 (8-ounce) block of cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup buttermilk ranch dressing
- 1 cup spicy buffalo sauce
- 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese (optional)
- 1/4 cup sliced scallions (for topping)
- Chips or fresh veggie sticks (for serving)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded rotisserie chicken, softened cream cheese, buttermilk ranch dressing, and spicy buffalo sauce. Use a spatula to blend everything together until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in the grated sharp cheddar cheese and gorgonzola cheese (if desired) until the mixture is well incorporated.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and the dip is heated through.
- Once out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then sprinkle with sliced scallions for a fresh touch.
- Serve warm alongside chips or fresh veggie sticks for a delightful snacking experience.
Notes
- For an extra layer of heat, mix in some diced serrano peppers before baking.
- You can also swap the buttermilk ranch for a zesty chipotle dressing for a smoky flavor.
