Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 2 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (if using breadcrumbs)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, steamed broccoli, uncooked rice, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. If using breadcrumbs, mix them with olive oil in a small bowl, then sprinkle evenly over the casserole.
  5. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let the casserole cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
