Crock-Pot Brown Sugar Pineapple Ham is a delicious and easy holiday meal that combines sweet and savory flavors, perfect for family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 to 3 pounds fully cooked ham (bone-in or boneless)
 - 1 cup brown sugar, packed
 - 1 cup pineapple juice
 - 1 can (20 ounces) pineapple slices, drained (reserve juice)
 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
 - 1 teaspoon ground cloves
 - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
 
Instructions
- Place the ham in the Crock-Pot, cut side down if using a bone-in ham.
 - In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar, pineapple juice, reserved pineapple juice, cinnamon, cloves, and Dijon mustard. Mix until well combined.
 - Pour the brown sugar mixture over the ham, making sure to coat it evenly.
 - Arrange the pineapple slices on top of the ham, securing them with toothpicks if necessary.
 - Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, or until heated through and the ham reaches an internal temperature of 140°F.
 - Once done, remove the ham from the Crock-Pot and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with the juices spooned over the top.
 
Notes
- For a glaze with a bit of tang, add 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to the brown sugar mixture.
 - If you prefer a spicier flavor, add 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger or a pinch of cayenne pepper to the glaze.
