Description

Ingredients

  • 4 flaky croissants
  • 8 ounces sliced deli ham or roast beef
  • 4 slices of provolone cheese
  • 1 ripe avocado, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup arugula or mixed greens
  • 1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons creamy ranch dressing
  • 1 tablespoon spicy mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Carefully cut each croissant in half lengthwise, creating a top and bottom section.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the ranch dressing and spicy mustard, then spread this zesty mixture generously on the inside of each croissant half.
  4. On the bottom half of each croissant, layer the sliced ham or roast beef, followed by a slice of provolone cheese.
  5. Top the cheese with avocado slices, arugula, and cucumber slices. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to enhance the flavors.
  6. Cap each sandwich with the top half of the croissant.
  7. Arrange the sandwiches on a baking tray and place them in the oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is gooey and the croissants are golden and crisp.
  8. Take them out of the oven, cut them in half if you like, and enjoy them while they’re warm.
