Description

These adorable and flaky Easter Bunny Crescent Bites bring fun and flavor to your holiday table. Filled with creamy spinach-artichoke dip, they’re the perfect festive appetizer for kids and adults alike!

Ingredients

For the Crescent Bites:

  • Crescent roll dough
  • Cooking spray
  • Fresh herbs (parsley, chives, or your choice)

For the Filling (Spinach-Artichoke Dip):

  • 1/2 cup artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1/2 cup frozen spinach, thawed and moisture removed
  • 1/4 cup finely diced onion
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crescent Dough
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Roll out the crescent dough and press seams together.
    • Cut out circles and place them in a mini-muffin tin.
    • Use the remaining dough to carve out bunny ears and place them on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake the Crescent Bites and Bunny Ears
    • Bake the crescent bites for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
    • Bake bunny ears separately for 3-5 minutes (watch closely to prevent burning).
    • Press the centers of the baked crescent cups to create a well for the filling.
  3. Make the Filling
    • In a bowl, mix together artichoke hearts, spinach, onion, cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic, and salt.
  4. Assemble and Serve
    • Fill each crescent bite with a spoonful of dip.
    • Gently press in a pair of baked bunny ears.
    • Garnish with fresh herbs for a festive touch.

Notes

  • Keep crescent roll dough cold for easy handling.
  • Watch the baking time carefully; bunny ears bake faster than the crescent cups.
  • Let crescent bites cool before adding cold fillings.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat before serving.
  • Try different fillings such as pimento cheese or buffalo chicken dip for variety!
