Ingredients

For the Cookie Dough:

  • 15.25 ounces white cake mix
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Decorations:

  • 12 ounces candy melts or almond bark (white or pastel-colored)
  • M&M’s or festive sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough:
    • In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
    • Cover the dough and chill for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  2. Bake the Cookies:
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    • Scoop 1-inch balls of dough and place them 2 inches apart on the baking sheet.
    • Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges start to set but the centers remain soft.
    • Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 2-3 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
  3. Decorate with a Festive Touch:
    • Melt candy melts or almond bark according to package instructions.
    • Dip each cooled cookie halfway into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.
    • Place on a lined baking sheet and top with M&M’s or sprinkles.
    • Let the cookies set completely before serving.
