Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 tostada shells
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes

- 1 avocado, mashed

- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat.
- In a separate bowl, mix the mashed avocado with lime juice and a pinch of salt to make guacamole.
- In another bowl, combine diced tomatoes, red onion, and cilantro to create the fresh salsa. Add salt to taste.
- To assemble the tostadas, spread a layer of guacamole on each tostada shell. Top with shredded lettuce, cooked shrimp, and a generous spoonful of fresh salsa.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious summer meal!
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños to the fresh salsa or sprinkle some hot sauce over the assembled tostadas.
- Substitute the shrimp with grilled chicken or black beans for a different protein option.
