Ingredients

  • 50g granulated sugar
  • 100g hazelnuts, finely crushed or chopped

For Topping

  • 24 Ferrero Rocher chocolates

Instructions

  • Prep Your Baking Tools
    Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients
    In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • Cream Butter and Sugar
    Beat softened butter until creamy, then add brown sugar and mix until light and fluffy.
  • Add Wet Ingredients
    Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  • Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures
    Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the butter mixture on low speed until just combined.
  • Portion and Roll
    Scoop out 1.5-tablespoon portions of dough, roll them into balls, and coat them in granulated sugar or crushed hazelnuts.
