Description

Juicy ground beef, smoky bacon, and gooey cheddar cheese wrapped in golden, buttery dough—these rollups are the perfect comfort food for family dinners, parties, or game-day snacks.

Ingredients

For the Rollups:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 oz taco seasoning (1 packet)
  • ½ cup water
  • 6 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 16 oz refrigerated pizza dough

For the Garlic Butter Glaze:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Cook the Beef Filling:
    • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
    • Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes, then let cool slightly.
  • Prepare the Dough:
    • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a 10×15-inch rectangle.
  • Assemble the Rollups:
    • Spread the cooked beef evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
    • Sprinkle crumbled bacon and shredded cheese over the beef.
  • Roll and Slice:
    • Roll the dough tightly from the long edge into a log.
    • Pinch the edges to seal. Slice into 1-inch pieces with a sharp knife.
  • Arrange and Glaze:
    • Place rollups cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet, spaced slightly apart.
    • Mix melted butter and minced garlic in a small bowl. Brush generously over the rollups.
  • Bake:
    • Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
    • Garnish with chopped parsley.
  • Serve and Enjoy:
    • Serve warm with dipping sauces like ranch, ketchup, or chipotle mayo.

Notes

  • Roll the dough tightly and pinch the edges to prevent unrolling during baking.
  • Refrigerate the dough briefly if it becomes too soft while working.
  • Customize the filling with jalapeños, diced onions, or extra cheese.
