Ingredients
For the Filling:
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 fat content recommended)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
For the Dough:
- 2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits each)
For the Topping:
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat & Prep:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Let the ground beef sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
- Open and separate the refrigerated biscuit dough, setting it aside.
- Cook the Filling:
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef and season with salt and black pepper.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes, breaking the meat into small crumbles until fully browned.
- Drain excess grease, then stir in garlic powder and half of the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Assemble the Cheeseburger Bombs:
- Flatten each biscuit dough round into a 4-inch circle.
- Spoon 1 tablespoon of the beef mixture into the center.
- Top with 1 tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Place another flattened biscuit on top, sealing the edges by pressing firmly. Repeat for all biscuits.
- Bake:
- Arrange the bombs seam-side down on an ungreased baking sheet, leaving space between them.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Add the Finishing Touch:
- Mix the melted butter with Parmesan cheese and garlic powder.
- Brush over the cheeseburger bombs immediately after baking.
