Ingredients

For the Cookies:

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prepare – Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream Butter & Sugar – In a large bowl, beat together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients – Add eggs, vanilla extract, and green food coloring, mixing until evenly combined.
  4. Combine Dry Ingredients – In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  5. Shape & Bake – Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing evenly. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set but centers remain soft. Let cool completely.
  6. Prepare Frosting – Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, beating until fluffy.
  7. Decorate – Frost each cooled cookie generously and sprinkle with green or gold decorations for a festive touch.
