Description
A delicious and flavorful grilled salmon recipe inspired by Texas Roadhouse, perfect for a healthy meal.
Ingredients
- 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a grill pan, heat it over medium-high heat on the stovetop.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt to create a marinade.
- Brush the marinade generously over both sides of the salmon fillets.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill or grill pan. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, then carefully flip the fillets and cook for another 4-5 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Remove the salmon from the grill and drizzle with fresh lemon juice.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a smoky flavor, add a dash of liquid smoke to the marinade.
- Serve with a side of grilled vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
