Description
Honey Butter Skillet Corn is a sweet and savory side dish made with fresh corn, honey, and butter, perfect for any meal.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 4 cups fresh corn kernels (about 6 ears of corn)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Once the butter is melted, stir in the honey until well combined.
- Add the fresh corn kernels to the skillet and stir to coat them in the honey butter mixture.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika (if using). Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is tender and slightly caramelized.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce to the corn while cooking.
- You can substitute the fresh corn with frozen corn; just thaw and drain before using, and reduce cooking time to about 3-5 minutes.
