Description

A festive and delicious dessert featuring layers of fresh berries, yogurt, and granola, perfect for summer celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 2 cups vanilla yogurt
  • 1 cup granola
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the sliced strawberries and honey (if using). Stir gently and set aside to let the flavors meld for about 10 minutes.
  2. In serving glasses or bowls, layer the parfaits starting with a layer of vanilla yogurt at the bottom.
  3. Add a layer of the honeyed strawberries on top of the yogurt.
  4. Next, add a layer of blueberries over the strawberries.
  5. Sprinkle a layer of granola on top of the blueberries.
  6. Repeat the layers until the glasses are filled, finishing with a layer of yogurt and a sprinkle of granola on top.
  7. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for up to 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture, use Greek yogurt instead of regular vanilla yogurt.
  • You can also substitute other berries like raspberries or blackberries for a different flavor profile.
